Lysistrata Set Design – Final Results! [NSFW images]

The set design was a success! Here are some pictures.

Warning! The set was designed for a very raunchy, dick-joke laden play..so…..these pictures below might not be for the faint of heart.

Front of set
The Acropolis. We went with curtains instead of doors.
Rough looking house
A wood and stucco house to the left of the acropolis. I wanted to make it look a little grungy so I used some spray paint at the bottom to make it look dingy.

For the left side of the stage, I painted the stones with spray paint and white paint to give it more definition. I think I’m in love with spray paint now. I painted some of the graffiti but let the cast members go crazy with the rest. They went all out!

Graffiti right

kicknack
This is one of the lines of the play – a joke about a sex position.
Graffiti left
No one was really sure what the Greek in the upper left corner meant. Someone’s Greek friend said it was bad though. lol
I told everyone I would sneak a dickbutt in the set somewhere. >_>

Here’s a video of one of the scenes. So funny!

I had a lot of fun planning and putting this together, but I’m dead tired from the late nights, drilling, screwing, and painting. I’m looking forward to some lazy computer time and getting back to comics. 0_0;
